• President: Al welcomed everyone to the meeting and supplied an agenda

Old Business/New Business:

1. Parade July 4, 2007: Glenn McCalley reported that the parade will be July 1, 2007. It will be later in the day so that everyone may enjoy fireworks (if approved). The Parade committee needs to raise $20000 - $25000 for the parade (mostly for fireworks)
   

Committee Reports:

1. Nominating Committee Report: Sharon Devin and committee announced that nominated Allison Breznicky has accepted the nomination as Vice President and Kathy Wheatley has accepted the nomination as Secretary. There were no nominations from the floor. Motion to accept the nominations Dave Cavey and Henry Rosendale made a second to the motion. There was a unanimous vote. Paul Cummins made a motion to accept the unanimous vote and Joan Patterson made a second to the motion. Thanks to both Allison and Kathy for accepting the nominations.
   
2. Directory report: Rose Hilgartner updated everyone on the Directory. It is complete and ready for pickup from Minuteman Press. There are many additional charges and she has sent an email to many of the advertisers informing them of the additional charge and any outstanding monies due. 12000 copies are printed and 11500 copies will be mailed via USPS. HZBA needs money to mail the Directory. A copy of "who owes what" was passed out at the meeting. Glenn will send out invoices based on this hand out. Allison will also call those with outstanding balances. Members of the Executive committee along with Dave Cavey and Joan Patterson will visit Minuteman Press. Based on this meeting an Emergency Special Meeting will be needed. Al will send an email detailing the time and place of this meeting.
   
3. Community Affairs: Dave Cavey invited Dave Schreiner and Spencer Pace from Hereford High School to speak briefly at the meeting on the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) group at HHS. Dave S. is looking for owners of small businesses to speak at club meetings. If interested contact him at . He is also looking for donations for the HSS Book Store. A glass display case is also requested.
   
4. Fall Fest: Dianne Fowler reported the HZBA is cutting back on all expenses as a result of the Directory budget problem (no balloons, less tables and chairs, no children's games).
   
5. Hospitality: Allison Breznicky distributed a report itemizing expenses of $424.82 against a budget of $800.
   
6. Marketing, Communications, Publicity: No report.
   
7. Membership: Jim Deluca announced that there will be a table at the HZBA tent at the Fall Fest for HZBA Membership recruiting. Jim has also mailed a postcard reminding all members about the Fall Fest and to sign up for a table for their business.
   
8. Raffle Baskets: John Mays distributed a report detailing all contributions to date and those contributions that will become part of the Silent Auction. We really need to push the sale of tickets. He also need help selling tickets at the Fall Fest. Dave Schreiner may be able to recruit FBLA members to assist at Fall Fest.
   
9. Website: Glenn McCalley had nothing to report.
