Meeting Minutes:
Henry motioned and Glenn seconded to accept the October meeting minutes.

Old business:
1. Membership drive and renewal: Ms. McPherson (?) will assist with the membership renewal. For the next HZBA meeting, Glenn will have a list of members up for renewal.
2. Annual Banquet: The December 12 meeting will be held at Woodhall Winery, 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend. Each member is asked to bring a covered dish and also bring a business guest who would benefit by joining the HZBA. A $10.00 per person donation is required to cover the open bar, refreshments and banquet room. Please call Rose Hilgartner at 410 343-2223 and let her know what you will be bringing for your covered dish.
3. HZBA Directory: Cathy Cooper is in charge of developing and publishing this directory. She will be contacting each member to ask if they would like to place a business card size ad in the directory for $90.00. She can be contacted at 410 357-4220. The map in the directory is provided by ADC and would cost $500.00 for the copyright fee. ADC will waive this fee if they can place their ad in our directory. Henry motioned and Glenn seconded to place the ADC ad in our directory. Cathy will contact ADC.

New Business:
1. Meeting times: A vote was taken at this meeting to determine if we should alternate between morning and evenings. Even months would be evening and odd months would be morning. The unanimous vote was to stay with the evening meetings at 7 p.m.
2. What would you like to see happen in the coming year? Two suggestions so far - Display flags along York Road and work more closely with the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department. More suggestions are welcome.
3. Membership: Bill Norris has agreed to take on the challenge of Membership. Unfortunately he was unable to attend this meeting.
4. Marketing tip speaker: Rose spoke with a gentleman who has volunteered to give a short presentation about marketing our businesses. All agreed to have him speak at a future meeting.
5. Do we want to have a table at the Hereford Volunteer Christmas Bazaar-Everyone agreed to spend the $10.00 so HZBA can participate in the Christmas Bazaar. Henry, Sharon and Ed have agreed to man the table from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. December 8. Mary motioned and Paulette seconded to print notepads as give-a-ways. The budget is set at $300.00. Mary will organize the printing and contact Sharon when the notepads are ready.

Committee Reports:
Treasurer report:
1. Jeanne Reynolds gave the Treasurer report to Rose to hand out at the meeting. Ending checking balance is $1,789.68.

Web Site update:
1. Missing names: As far as Glenn can tell the members listed on the Web site are current.
2. Membership: Auto mail renewal forms may be available by mid December for those who need to renew their membership.
3. Membership list printout and how members can get their own. They can print it from the Web site.
4. Each member should begin considering a banner ad to be placed on our web site. At the moment there is no charge for this advertising. The banner ad should be 100 pixels by 550 pixels.

Nominating Committee:
1. Henry distributed a list of those who have been nominated for positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Membership. Ballots will be handed out at the December 12 meeting and votes will be tallied at the meeting.

Member business presentations:
